Wrapping it up...

Next week we move so we are really wrapping things up around here.
Saying our goodbyes, visiting our favorite places one last time.
And enjoying just being together in the same country. We thankfully had Adrian home for the holidays. It was great to be back together the long distance and commuting has been tough. We are really looking forward to being in the same country again.
I keep thinking about all my favorite things here in California wondering how I will live without my mountain hikes and fresh tacos with gaucamole. But life goes on and I will have to find some new favorites. Or maybe someone can ship me Cali taco ingredients!!

Hiking our favorite spots...

Enjoying time with Family

This is my Women's Bible Study group hard to believe but I have been with this group a year and a half. I am really going to miss these ladies. I learned so much from our group sharing and studies.

Here is my husband who is enthusiastically adjusting to life in England!! Love the bowtie.

Every adventure and every move for our family changes us in some way. We always get to meet great people and learn and experience new things. I am excited to see what this new season brings for us. We were hesitant at first about moving again. If you had asked us a few weeks ago I think our answer would be different. But now I think we are all ready to hop on that plane and get over there and start something new.

The Secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new!

  3. I can imagine the mixture of emotions you are feeling. We lived in Wales, then Italy, and then Germany when I was a little girl. That experience imprinted something special into my heart and left me with a longing to see those and other places again. Perhaps someday. I am happy for you in all the adventures that await you. Look forward to reading about them. Hugs Pam
